Donation of Winter Supplies Set Worth 15 Million Won to 180 Households
The Gyeonggi Yangju Volunteer Center (Chairman Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 17th that it held a donation ceremony for the 'Love Warmth Up (UP)' winter protection kit in collaboration with GH Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (Head of Balanced Development Division Oh Wan-seok) at Yangju City Hall on the 16th.

With about 20 attendees including GH Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation officials and representatives from towns, townships, and neighborhoods, winter protection kits consisting of a 3-item set (heated mat, humidifier, heater) worth 15 million KRW were distributed to 180 low-income households in Gwangjeok-myeon, Eunhyeon-myeon, and Yangju 1-dong, areas served by GH Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation. Additionally, warm-hearted donations were personally delivered to two elderly living alone in Yangju 1-dong.
Oh Wan-seok, Head of the Balanced Development Division at GH Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation, who attended the ceremony, said, "I am glad to practice neighborly love through sharing as the year ends, and I hope this brings comfort to those in need. We will strive to be a company that continuously participates in social contribution activities for the local community."
Chairman Kang Su-hyun expressed gratitude, saying, "I thank GH Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation for donating essential winter protection items to neighbors living in vulnerable heating conditions due to the rapidly dropping temperatures. We will sincerely deliver these items so that our neighbors vulnerable to heating can have a warm winter."
