Gochang-gun Calls for Applications for 'Youth Policy Council' Members Until the 18th

For Residents Aged 18 to 45 in the District

Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk Province, is recruiting members for the '2nd Youth Policy Council' until the 18th.


According to the county on the 13th, the 2nd Youth Policy Council is expected to establish itself as an important organization that reflects the voices of local youth in policies, contributing to welfare and improvement of living conditions.

Council members will discuss various matters related to youth policies within the county and play a role in reflecting practical demands in county administration.


Eligibility to apply is open to any youth aged 18 to 45 residing in the county, and applications can be submitted either in person or via email.


The 2nd Youth Policy Council will hold an inauguration ceremony in January next year, followed by gathering opinions, discussions, and policy development on youth policies to discover customized policies that are practically necessary and can generate interest among youth, contributing to Gochang-gun's advancement as a youth-friendly city.


Members of the Youth Policy Council will receive meeting and attendance allowances for youth policy agenda discussions, and will be provided with professional education on youth policies and opportunities to participate in various programs.


County Governor Shim Deok-seop said, "The Youth Policy Council is an important channel to incorporate the voices of youth into policies, and we ask for active participation so that diverse opinions can be reflected in policies," adding, "We hope that through this recruitment of members, more youth can contribute to the development of the county."
