On the 12th, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Police Agency held a donation ceremony for the ‘Together Gyeongnam’ support fund to protect and support crime victims in the police chief's reception room.
This donation ceremony followed the business agreement signed between the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Police Agency on November 11, and was organized with the purpose of enhancing the practical effectiveness of support for crime victims based on mutual cooperation.
Attending the event were Choi Jae-ho, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Kim Myung-ja, CEO of SL Electronics; and Jung Woo-young, CEO of Hansung S&I and auditor of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry. From the Gyeongnam Police Agency, Chief Kim Sung-hee, Director of the Community Safety Division Kim Nam-hee, and Director of the Women and Youth Division Won Yong-duk were present.
At the donation ceremony, Chairman Choi Jae-ho donated 10 million won, CEO Kim Myung-ja donated 2 million won, and CEO Jung Woo-young donated 2 million won to support crime victims. Notably, this event is meaningful as the donations will continue in a relay format rather than being a one-time occurrence.
Chairman Choi Jae-ho said, “We have gathered a small amount of sincerity so that crime victims can recover in a safe environment and stand up strongly again,” adding, “I hope this event will expand warm solidarity and consideration within the local community.”
‘Together Gyeongnam’ is a project jointly promoted by the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Police Agency, aimed at providing practical assistance to crime victims in the region and strengthening the community safety net.
