On October 21, the county conducted an integrated drill assuming a 'large fire in a multi-use facility' at the Boseong National Sports Center area, with the participation of about 200 people from nine organizations including the Boseong Fire Station and Boseong Police Station.

In particular, the training enhanced effectiveness by checking the response system for various situations such as large fires in multi-use facilities and complex disasters, and received high evaluations for being a field-centered exercise including the establishment of training plans and the creation of scenarios with a high likelihood of actual occurrence.

Kim Cheol-woo, the governor of Boseong-gun, said, “This has become an opportunity to strengthen disaster response capabilities and cooperation systems among related organizations through realistic training in preparation for the recent frequent large fires in densely populated facilities,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to protect the lives and property of all residents.”
