LG CNS announced on the 11th that its credit rating outlook has been upgraded by all three major domestic credit rating agencies.
The three major domestic credit rating agencies?Korea Ratings, Korea Credit Rating, and NICE Credit Rating?have upgraded LG CNS's credit rating outlook from 'AA- Stable' to 'AA- Positive.' This is the first time in 15 years since 2009 that a domestic credit rating agency has changed LG CNS's credit rating outlook.
The three credit rating agencies cited order performance, business competitiveness, continuous revenue growth, financial stability, and capabilities to accelerate digital transformation across all industries as the main reasons for the upgrade of LG CNS's credit rating outlook.
In particular, Korea Credit Rating viewed LG CNS as leading the domestic MSP (Managed Service Provider) market through a strong partnership with global cloud companies. It also analyzed that LG CNS is excelling in cloud-based financial IT services, next-generation system construction, and platform development. Furthermore, it explained that LG CNS continues to grow steadily in the logistics sector through the establishment of smart logistics intelligence and automation systems.
Hyun-kyu Lee, LG CNS Chief Financial Officer (CFO, Executive Director), emphasized, "Despite increasing uncertainties in the business environment, LG CNS has achieved the milestone of an upgraded credit rating outlook for the first time in 15 years, thanks to its business competitiveness and solid financial stability.
