This selection was made after the city received applications for model management complexes from apartment complexes in the jurisdiction in August, submitted them to Gyeonggi Province, and then underwent an on-site inspection by the Gyeonggi evaluation team in September.

The e-Pyeonhansesang Okjeong Metro Foret Apartment was included among the top six complexes out of 31 apartment complexes in cities and counties across Gyeonggi Province, achieving the honor of receiving the Gyeonggi Governor’s Commendation and the Model Coexistence Management Certification Plaque.

The evaluation was divided into four categories: general management, facility maintenance management, community activation, and recycling and energy saving. It was conducted by dividing the complexes into three groups based on the number of households: under 500 households, 500 to under 1,000 households, and 1,000 or more households.

In particular, e-Pyeonhansesang Okjeong Metro Foret Apartment achieved excellent results in various areas including ▲improving the complex environment through monthly Clean Day events ▲active communication with residents through One-Day Class events ▲encouraging a hopeful future and reading activities through the Kkum Maru Small Library events ▲hosting various events such as an inter-floor noise reduction poster contest and water park events ▲practicing carbon-neutral living ▲and reducing communal electricity costs through a stair-climbing campaign.

Woo Byung-moon, chairman of the Residents’ Representative Meeting of e-Pyeonhansesang Okjeong Metro Foret Apartment, expressed his aspiration, saying, “We will not be complacent with this award and will continue to work steadily in cooperation with residents, the management office, and Yangju City to provide a more developed residential environment.”

A Yangju City official said, “We expect that this achievement will increase interest in the selection of model coexistence apartment complexes in other apartment complexes as well,” and added, “We will contribute to improving the residential standards of apartment complexes in Yangju City and establishing a foundation for exemplary apartment management through strengthening autonomous management capabilities and spreading excellent cases.”
