On the 10th, Expectation for Election Commission Raid Results on Facebook
"Just Wait a Few Days to Confirm the Existence of the Great Evil Cartel," Claim
Radio Seon: "There Should Be No Impeachment"
Former Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn stated that the allegations of election fraud he has been advocating will be revealed, in relation to the military's search and seizure of the National Election Commission during the emergency martial law period.
On the 10th, Hwang posted on his Facebook, "Many citizens are unaware, but patriotic citizens have continuously raised issues of election fraud since the April 15 general election, and the evidence has been accumulating layer by layer." He claimed, "There is more than enough evidence of election fraud committed by the National Election Commission," adding, "If we further analyze the additional election data from April 10 secured by the military this time, the full extent of their crimes that have undermined liberal democracy will be exposed in broad daylight." He said, "In my opinion, if we wait just a few more days, there will be an opportunity to confirm the existence of this great cartel of evil and to defeat it. It won't take long," and urged, "I ask all citizens to unite their efforts to eradicate election fraud. I will take the lead."
Earlier, on the 9th, during an appearance on ‘YTN Radio News Fighting with Bae Seung-hee,’ Hwang commented on the internal strife within the People Power Party, saying, "We lost all the seats due to election fraud, and without correcting this, if we bring division within us, a second Park Geun-hye presidential crisis will occur." He added, "Now, we must clearly set our direction. We should not fight among ourselves but fight against the opposition."
Hwang, who served as acting president in place of impeached former President Park Geun-hye, said, "Both the past and present are unfortunate events, but there is a fundamental difference," and stated, "This time, an impeachment is being attempted. In any case, I believe impeachment should not happen." He explained, "The president has a five-year term, and once that term ends, if they have done wrong, they can be evaluated, judged, and held accountable through elections and subsequent elections," adding, "Impeaching in the middle of the term is truly abnormal." After the impeachment vote failed to pass, he wrote on Facebook, "Justice has prevailed."
