LG Household & Health Care Receives Presidential Citation for Contributions to Sustainable Management

Fulfilling Social Responsibility through ESG Management

LG Household & Health Care announced on the 11th that it received the ‘Presidential Citation’ in recognition of its contributions to sustainable management throughout this year.

LG Household & Health Care was awarded the highest honor, the Presidential Citation, at the ‘2024 Sustainable Management Merit’ awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on the afternoon of the 10th at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy annually selects companies and organizations that have achieved outstanding results in environmental, social, and governance aspects for sustainable management, awarding them with the Presidential Citation, Prime Minister’s Citation, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Citation, and Minister of SMEs and Startups Citation.

LG Household & Health Care is making various efforts to strengthen ESG management in areas such as climate change response, reduction of plastic usage, win-win cooperation, and social contribution. To reduce plastic usage, the company is expanding container lightweighting and the use of recycled materials, and practicing win-win cooperation to extend ESG management to small and medium-sized enterprises by hosting events such as the ‘Partner Company ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Awards.’

Additionally, through various social contribution activities targeting stakeholders such as women, youth, and children?including the Earth School lending program, Natural Beauty Live Creator, and the Sparkling Perio Musical?the company is committed to efforts for a better society.
