The Amsa-dong Prehistoric Relics Museum is a specialized museum centered on the Amsa-dong site, a representative Neolithic site in Korea. The special exhibition "Prehistoric Artists," running here until June 22 next year, was specially planned by the district to highlight the value of prehistoric art, allowing visitors to vividly encounter prehistoric artifacts that were previously only seen in textbooks.

This special exhibition displays not only world-famous prehistoric artworks such as Paleolithic sculptures and cave paintings discovered in Europe but also Neolithic artifacts from Korea. In particular, visitors can enjoy both the exhibition and hands-on experiences simultaneously through video programs located throughout the exhibition halls, such as "Drawing My Own Cave Painting" and "Making Comb-patterned Pottery."

The special experiential program linked to the exhibition, "Making Dolls with Clay," is aimed at children aged 5 and above up to elementary school students and is held every weekend until the 29th of this month. The sessions take place twice daily at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the entrance of the special exhibition hall of the Amsa-dong Prehistoric Relics Museum.

Children participating in the experience can explore the artistic world of prehistoric times by viewing artworks left by prehistoric people and then directly touching and molding clay. This program can be applied for free on-site on the day of the event, and no prior reservation is required.

Lee Sun-young, Director of Culture and Arts of Gangdong-gu, said, "Through this exhibition and experience, we hope children will directly see and feel the amazing artworks of prehistoric times, learn their value, and have an opportunity to develop artistic sensitivity and imagination."
