Paju-si to Host '2024 Happy Together Family Sharing Day'

2024 Family Center Project Performance Report

Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 5th that the ‘2024 Happy Together Family Sharing Day’ event, hosted by the Paju Family Center and held at the Citizen Hall Grand Theater on the 1st, was successfully concluded with the attendance of over 200 people including Family Center users, meritorious persons, and related organization officials.

This event was organized to share the achievements of family support projects conducted throughout the year and to encourage those who worked hard to foster a healthy family culture. The program included commendations for contributors to healthy families and multicultural family support, reports on Family Center projects, and congratulatory performances.


In addition, various side events such as a hand-drip coffee experience, a support project for single-person households by the Family Center, and instant family photo frame giveaways were held, drawing positive responses from citizens.


The Paju Family Center, operated under consignment by Paju City, provides family support services tailored to various types and life cycles with the goal of strengthening the healthy functions of families.


This year, to support the continuously increasing multicultural households, the center expanded customized services suitable for various types by adding ▲support for multicultural family relationship improvement ▲child growth support ▲bilingual education support ▲activation support for multicultural family clubs, and additionally providing ▲support for multicultural family educational activity expenses.


Lee Sa-sook, Acting Director of the Family Center and Secretary-General, said, “The projects promoted by the Family Center throughout the year were enriched and completed thanks to the support and participation of the citizens. We will prepare various programs that help families understand and support each other to contribute to the harmony and happiness of the local community.”


Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju said, “I hope this event becomes an opportunity for families in our region to unite and encourage each other’s efforts. Paju City will do its best to create an environment where diverse families can coexist harmoniously and enjoy happiness.”
