On the 3rd, the Yoon Seok-yeol Regime Resignation Movement Headquarters held a "Press Conference to Proclaim the 3rd Nationwide Rally for the Resignation of the Yoon Seok-yeol Regime" at the KCTU conference room in Jeong-dong, Seoul, announcing, "About 20,000 people are expected to participate in this rally and march through the downtown area after the assembly." The headquarters includes progressive civic groups such as the KCTU, National People's Action, Progressive University Students Network, National Federation of Farmers' Associations, and the Poor People's Liberation Practice Solidarity.

Yang Kyung-soo, Chairman of the KCTU, said at the press conference, "We declare the dismissal of the Yoon Seok-yeol regime. The president has once again refused a special investigation into Kim Geon-hee, the core link in the state affairs manipulation. The regime is paralyzing governance with veto power as if it only needs to cover up its own scandals regarding the truth of the state affairs manipulation." He added, "Let's open the resignation square for the Yoon Seok-yeol regime. Let's open the resignation square and gather the power for a great transformation of Korean society. Let's open a new world ourselves." He continued, "The 3rd rally will see countless workers, farmers, and citizens from across the country boarding resignation buses to Seoul to raise the beacon of a massive struggle. No power can defeat the people."

Previously, the KCTU held the 1st and 2nd rallies on the 9th and 20th of last month, and after this 3rd rally, they plan to conclude this year's struggle with nationwide simultaneous resignation movements on the 21st.
