The brand lineup has been changed by 30%!
Shinsegae Centum City announced on the 29th that it has renewed and reopened its premium beauty select shop ‘CHICOR’ on the B2 floor of the mall on the 28th.
Since its opening in 2017, CHICOR Centum City has shown an average annual sales growth rate of about 25% until last year, and has undergone a full store renewal after about 7 years for its second leap forward.
The newly launched store introduces K-beauty and exclusive brands curated with Shinsegae’s unique sensibility, in addition to the existing overseas premium beauty lineup.
In the increasingly competitive H&B (Health & Beauty) store market, this project aims to diversify products and price ranges and expand the target customer base to younger customers in their teens and twenties, thereby increasing market share.
CHICOR has significantly revamped its tenant brands. It newly introduced 53 brands, accounting for 30% of the total, and increased the number of brands from 145 to 178 through space optimization, allowing customers to experience a wider variety of beauty products.
A new corner called ‘New in CHICOR’ was established to showcase the latest trends including K-beauty, reflecting the needs of trend-sensitive cosmetics consumers.
In color cosmetics, brands such as OAD, Tillnus, and Bruchesia, which have gained popularity among beauty influencers, were exclusively introduced, and in skincare, various K-beauty brands such as Nutexture, Skin1004, and Mixsoon are featured.
Shinsegae Centum City will also hold various promotions and events to celebrate the renewal.
Until the 8th of next month, CHICOR membership customers will receive a 7,000 KRW discount coupon for purchases over 50,000 KRW. For all customers, a 10,000 Shinbaek Reward (valid until December 31) will be given for purchases over 100,000 KRW, and gifts worth 52,000 KRW will be presented for purchases over 120,000 KRW (limited quantity), along with a lucky draw event with a 100% winning chance.
