This event will take place simultaneously with on-site participation and live streaming on YouTube's "Gyeonggi Teacher ON TV (Secondary)" from 1:30 PM on the 26th.

In the 2025 academic year, the free semester system and high school credit system of the 2022 revised middle school curriculum will be fully applied to schools at all levels. Accordingly, this event was prepared to help middle school students (including prospective first-year middle school students), parents, and teachers understand the operation of the free semester system and the high school credit system.

The event will be divided into three parts. Part 1 is mainly for prospective first-year middle school students and their parents, featuring lectures by middle school principals and teachers to explain the free semester system in an easy-to-understand manner.

Part 2 is mainly for middle school teachers and consists of discussions on the middle school curriculum and sharing of best practices, designed to assist in the operation of the free semester system.

Part 3 is mainly for prospective first-year high school students and their parents, with the theme "Understanding the High School Credit System," where high school teachers will explain the curriculum and evaluation from the students' perspective.

In particular, Part 3, "High School Credit System, How Far Have You Been?" is organized to include the material in school educational activities as part of middle school career-linked education. It is expected to greatly help improve understanding of the high school credit system by involving many prospective high school students (middle school students) in the province.

Kim Yoon-gi, Director of Curriculum Policy at the Provincial Office of Education, said, "Through this concert, we expect to understand the direction of the free semester system operation in middle schools and prepare the 2025 middle school curriculum more effectively." He added, "We will also continuously and diversely provide guidance on the high school credit system to help students design their own dreams."

Meanwhile, the Provincial Office of Education plans to make various promotional efforts for the free semester system and high school credit system through ▲ production and distribution of promotional materials for the 2025 free semester system ▲ collaboratively creating the middle school curriculum ▲ collaboratively creating the 2025 high school credit system ▲ uploading excellent cases of the free semester system and high school credit system materials by education support offices on the Gyeonggi Education Moa website.
