On the 22nd, the YouTube channel Han Moon-cheol TV uploaded a video titled "Smoking a cigarette and banging with a monkey spanner!!! The car repair cost came out to 11 million won, but the man who smashed my car keeps avoiding my contact." In the video, a man holding a cigarette comes down to the parking lot carrying a monkey spanner. The man approaches the victim's vehicle and repeatedly strikes the front windshield with the monkey spanner he brought.

Then, moving to the rear of the vehicle, the man continues to hit the rear window multiple times with the monkey spanner until it shatters completely, just like the front windshield. Returning to the front of the car, the man keeps hitting various parts of the vehicle, including the hood, bumper, and side fender, with the monkey spanner. The man's abnormal behavior continues for more than three minutes.

Photos provided by the victim show that both the front and rear windows were shattered, and the hood and doors were dented from the monkey spanner strikes. The victim, Mr. A, explained, "I have never met the perpetrator before." When Mr. A asked the man why he did such a thing, the man replied, "I am an alcoholic, and I thought it was my car because I was drunk," adding, "I broke it because I don't want to use the car anymore." When Mr. A protested, saying, "The perpetrator's car is black and a different model," the man excused himself by saying, "I often parked there, so I thought it was my car."

As a result of this incident, the victim's car repair cost amounted to 11 million won, and rental fees during the repair period were about 3 million won. Lawyer Han Moon-cheol, who saw this story, said, "Was the man really drunk enough not to recognize his own car? Will the claim that he thought it was his car be accepted?" He added, "The perpetrator should pay all the repair and rental fees." He also stated, "The perpetrator has been handed over to the prosecution, and charges of property damage or special property damage may apply," adding, "Property damage carries a penalty of up to three years in prison or a fine of up to 7 million won, and in this case, even if the victim agrees, it is appropriate to proceed with a trial."
