Gwangju Urban Corporation held a kimchi-making experience event on the 21st at Gwangju Kimchi Town under the slogan "Dreaming of a Happy Community in the Housing Welfare Center in." This event is part of community activities to support the relocation of housing-vulnerable groups to public rental housing and their adaptation to the local community.
The event aimed to help housing-vulnerable groups adapt to the local community and strengthen bonds among residents through various community activities after moving into public rental housing.
Invited households and corporation executives and employees spent time communicating and chatting with each other after the event, and the corporation distributed pre-prepared daily necessities to the attendees.
The Comprehensive Housing Welfare Center operates various community programs for housing-vulnerable groups and has promoted diverse events such as sharing traditional food side dishes, making five-colored songpyeon, and customized disaster safety education.
Kim Seung-nam, president of Gwangju Urban Corporation, stated, "We will continuously discover and implement various programs to ensure housing stability for vulnerable groups in our region and fulfill our social responsibility as a leading public enterprise in the area."
