Indoor and Outdoor Resting Possible with Companion Dogs
A space where travelers can stay and relax with their pets has been created at Incheon International Airport.
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 19th that it has opened the 'Incheon Airport Pet Lounge.'
The Pet Lounge is located on the west side of the basement level 1 of Terminal 1 Transportation Center at Incheon Airport. It features a photo zone with pets and resting chairs. Since it is located near the 'Incheon Airport Pet Garden,' an outdoor dog walking path established in March, visitors can spend time with their dogs both indoors and outdoors.
With the opening of the Pet Lounge, the dog hotel consignment service counter, introduced in March, has also been moved from the arrival hall of Terminal 1 to the Pet Lounge. The dog hotel consignment service allows travelers to leave their dogs at a nearby dog hotel (Dokdok) within the airport before departure and pick them up upon arrival.
Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, said, "We will continue to enhance passenger convenience by expanding customized services that reflect the diverse needs of travelers."
