Participants Including Officials from Gyeongnam Western Child Protection Agency
On the 19th, Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, held a 'Child Abuse Eradication Campaign' in observance of Child Abuse Prevention Day.
This campaign was promoted to raise awareness and interest among mandatory reporters of child abuse.
The campaign, held in the lobby of the county office main building, was attended by County Governor Lee Seunghwa and officials from the Gyeongnam Western Child Protection Agency, who distributed promotional materials and leaflets to public officials on their way to work.
In particular, they emphasized "stop! Child Abuse love! children" and "Report Child Abuse 112," appealing for active interest in preventing child abuse.
Sancheong-gun plans to carry out various activities, including a joint campaign at the intersection in front of Nonghyup Bank in Sancheong-eup on the 21st, during Child Abuse Prevention Week (19th to 25th), in addition to this campaign.
Governor Lee said, "I hope this campaign will contribute to raising awareness of child abuse prevention among mandatory reporters and within the local community," adding, "We will continue to strive to create a society where children are safe."
