Representative Lee Jae-myung Sentenced to 1 Year in Prison with 2 Years Probation
Han Dong-hoon, leader of the People Power Party, said on the 15th regarding Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, being sentenced to a disqualification from election, "Despite the intimidation and powerless protests against the judges, I respect and pay tribute to the judiciary's decision based on the law."

On the same day, Han stated on his social media (SNS), "Today, the court recognized Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, guilty of violating election laws and sentenced him to one year in prison with two years of probation, resulting in disqualification from election and restriction of eligibility."
He added, "The People Power Party will uphold the judiciary's independence and fairness together with the people," emphasizing, "The People Power Party will further change and reform, including the decision made yesterday to push for a special inspector who was neglected during the five years of the Democratic Party administration."
