San-eun Capital announced on the 15th that it held a general shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting and appointed Vice President Lee Byung-ho as CEO and President.
CEO Lee was born in 1964 and graduated from Gimcheon High School and Korea University with a degree in Business Administration. He joined the Korea Development Bank in 1989. Since 2002, while working in the Corporate Finance Division, he was responsible for the sale of Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and Daewoo Heavy Industries & Machinery. He has mainly been involved in global business sectors, serving as KDB Hong Kong President in 2013, Head of Overseas Business Division in 2016, and Head of Asia Regional Headquarters in 2018.
After being appointed Vice President and Deputy Head of the Bank in 2020, CEO Lee led the Global Business Division, systematizing the global business portfolio and sales strategies based on his expertise and extensive experience, laying the foundation for expanding and stabilizing overseas revenue.
Since joining San-eun Capital as Vice President in May last year, he has overseen overall operations including sales, planning, and risk management. Despite an unfavorable business environment marked by prolonged high interest rates and a downturn in the real estate market, he is credited with contributing to solid asset growth, proactive risk management, and aggressive response to non-performing assets, maintaining industry-leading soundness.
San-eun Capital stated, "CEO Lee is known as a straightforward and gentle leader who values smooth information sharing within the organization, data- and risk-centered decision-making, and open discussions among employees to respond flexibly to rapidly changing business environments. He is also known for his approachable personality and informal interactions with staff."
