Goseong Cultural Foundation to Operate Art Healing Week for One Week Starting the 17th
Providing Art Healing and Healing Content Combining Goseong Cultural Spaces and Art Resources

Goseong County, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Ham Myeong-jun) announced on the 14th that the Goseong Cultural Foundation will operate the 2024 Art Healing Week, "Goseong Connected by Art ," from the 17th to the 23rd at various cultural spaces within Goseong County to provide a time to heal and reflect together through art as the year ends.

is a community art-based art healing project that offers experiences connecting individuals through culture and arts to promote communication and recovery within the community. Artists and experts actively engaged in artistic work in Goseong County will participate, presenting a variety of content including sound, visual arts, art play, and music therapy.

The main programs include △ Gayageum Sound Walk (for caregivers, youth, and office workers / Cafe Haeswimteo) △ Playing with Art (for infants aged 10 to 20 months and their mothers / Dalhol Culture Center) △ Psychology Hidden in the Body (for middle-aged and older adults / Dalhol Culture Center) △ Please Care for the Mind of You Becoming a Mother (for pregnant women / Dalhol Culture Center) △ Time to Color the Mind (for adults / Cafe Happy Holly) △ Practice of Rest (for youth and office workers / Cheonjin Stay Pado) △ How to Use My Body (for adults / Dalhol Culture Center) △ Fam Play (Fam(FAM), Play(PLAY), for families / Cafe Decore), totaling eight contents conducted over ten sessions. Participation applications can be checked through the announcements on the Goseong Cultural Foundation website.

A representative of the Goseong Cultural Foundation stated, “As the year ends, we are conducting to share opportunities for communication and healing through art with the residents of Goseong County,” adding, “We will strive to establish the Art Yeongo program as a distinctive culture of Goseong County that realizes the social value of culture and arts.”
