Support for Export Logistics of SMEs and Mid-sized Companies Operating Locally
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries will hold an information session on December 4th at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center (BPEX) to promote the use of overseas logistics centers operating in major port hinterlands such as Europe, Southeast Asia, and the United States.
BPA operates logistics centers in the hinterlands of the Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, the Port of Barcelona in Spain, Probolinggo Port in East Java, Indonesia, and the LA/LB Ports in the United States, allowing small and medium-sized export companies in Korea to use them stably at rates lower than market prices.
At this information session, detailed explanations will be provided on ▲the current status and usage methods of the logistics centers, services offered ▲global container shipping trends ▲KOTRA’s overseas joint logistics center support projects, and individual consultation sessions will be held for companies that apply in advance.
Attendance at the information session and individual consultations can be pre-registered through the popup window on the BPA website, and for more details, inquiries can be made to the BPA Overseas Business Office.
