Printing company Today Art (Chairman Park Jang-sun) donated 100 million KRW in scholarship funds to Jung-gu, Seoul. On the 12th, Park Jang-sun, Chairman of Today Art, handed over the scholarship funds to Kim Gil-sung, Mayor of Jung-gu, requesting that they be used for the Jung-gu Talent Development Scholarship Foundation project. The handover ceremony was held at the Jung-gu Office on the same day.

Chairman Park, who took office as the foundation’s chairman in June last year, donated 100 million KRW in scholarship funds at the time of his inauguration and donated another 100 million KRW this year. Chairman Park said, “I hope that the talents who will lead the future of our region do not lose hope and continue to pursue their dreams,” adding, “As the chairman of the foundation, I will do my best to ensure that the foundation plays a solid stepping stone role by carrying out various scholarship projects for the youth of Jung-gu in diverse fields.”
Mayor Kim Gil-sung responded, “I deeply appreciate your support for nurturing local talents during these difficult times of economic recession,” and said, “We will continue to provide generous support so that the youth of Jung-gu can receive education in better environments and achieve their dreams.”
This year, the foundation selected 100 scholarship recipients in the first half of the year and provided a total of about 70 million KRW in scholarship funds. Additionally, to foster young athletes, it supported a visit program to the Jincheon National Athlete Village, and it is carrying out differentiated scholarship projects that include visits to prestigious overseas universities and experiencing foreign cultures.
