Blackpink's Ros?, a member of the girl group, collaborated with pop star Bruno Mars on the duet "Apartment" (APT.), which has entered the top ranks of the UK Official Singles Chart 'Top 100' for three consecutive weeks.
According to the latest chart released on the 8th (local time), "Apartment" ranked 3rd, one position lower than the previous week. The 1st place was Gracie Abrams' "That's So True," and 2nd place was Gigi Perez's "Sailor Song," which held the top spot last week.
"Apartment" first entered the 'Top 100' last month at 4th place. It rose to 2nd place last week. The only case of a K-pop artist reaching number 1 on this chart was Psy's "Gangnam Style," which caused a global sensation in 2012.
"Apartment" is the pre-release track from Ros?'s first solo full-length album "rosie," which will be released next month. The song was inspired by the Korean drinking game called the "Apartment Game."
BTS member Jimin's solo second album title track "Who" ranked 74th on the same chart, dropping 24 places from the previous week, marking its 16th consecutive week on the chart. Blackpink's Jennie's "Mantra" dropped 9 places to 76th, marking its 4th consecutive week.
