The General Administration of Customs of China announced on the 7th that exports in October, based on the dollar, increased by 12.7% compared to the same period last year. This far exceeded the market expectation of 5.2%. Imports during the same period decreased by 2.3%.
Cumulative exports from the beginning of this year to October increased by 5.1% compared to the same period last year. Cumulative imports increased by 1.7%.
