"Blocked After Running Out of Money" - Original Poster Also Apologizes, Saying "It's a Misunderstanding"
Streamer (BJ) Gwajeupseyeon (real name In Seyeon), active on the online broadcasting platform Sup (formerly AfreecaTV), clarified allegations of a 1.6 billion KRW 'eat-and-run' scam.
On the 6th, Gwajeupseyeon posted on her social media (SNS), "Recently, rumors have been spreading online that the 'Yeolhyeolhoejang' sponsored Gwajeupseyeon with 1.6 billion KRW over two years but was blocked."
She continued, "The author of the Sup post mentioned in the rumor has never spent 1.6 billion KRW or an equivalent amount on Gwajeupseyeon," and "I have confirmed that this person is neither my Yeolhyeolhoejang nor has been blocked by me," dismissing the claims. She added, "There is no evidence that the author intended such implications in the post. The author of the Sup post apologized three hours after posting, acknowledging it was a clear misunderstanding."
Gwajeupseyeon stated, "I have clearly revealed that all the allegations mentioned are false, but these facts have been thoroughly distorted, and sensational rumors are spreading. All these rumors are baseless falsehoods." She also declared that she will take legal action without leniency through her legal representatives against malicious posts involving online defamation and insults.
Earlier, a user with the nickname 'GwajeupApplePangPang' exposed on the 26th of last month that they had sponsored Gwajeupseyeon with 1.6 billion KRW, becoming Yeolhyeolhoejang, but were then cut off. The user targeted her, saying, "In my over 10 years as a professional buffalo on Afreeca, I've met many kinds of mentally unstable people, but you are the first woman like this."
He continued, "Even when others cursed you and all sorts of suspicions and uncomfortable truths were revealed as facts, I stayed loyal and supported your broadcasts as much as possible. I stayed by your side even when your boyfriend was caught, during the Philippine entertainment allegations, and the US suspicions until recently. Everyone watching your broadcast, even other female BJs, knows about us, so do you have to end it like this?" He also said, "I didn't send star balloons. Was I just one of your money sources? When the money ran out, you just let me go?"

Gwajeupseyeon started broadcasting on AfreecaTV in June 2019, and last August, she attracted attention when she was spotted walking the streets of Beverly Hills, California, with Bang Si-hyuk, chairman of HYBE, and her older sister on her US YouTube channel. GwajeupApplePangPang was identified as Bang Si-hyuk at the time. When the suspicions arose, he clarified, "I'm not Bang Si-hyuk, so stop sending me messages."
