The Fair Recruitment Excellent Companies Awards evaluate efforts and achievements in ensuring fairness throughout the entire recruitment process, including transparent hiring, ability-centered selection, and empathy for job seekers, targeting all public institutions and private companies. Through verification processes such as the first round of document screening and the second round of presentations, excellent institutions are selected. This year, a total of about 95 institutions participated.

The Service shared this year's achievements under the theme of 'First' recruitment, representing Fairness, Innovation, Review, Satisfaction, and Trust. ▲Strengthening internal interviewers' recruitment capabilities by introducing a professional interviewer qualification system (Fairness) ▲Operating a preliminary pass system in document screening to grant additional document screening pass opportunities equivalent to the number of candidates who gave up the written exam (Innovation) ▲Enhancing convenience for regional talent by adding a written exam venue in Jeju besides the Seoul area (Review) ▲Supporting early settlement in Jeju by providing shared dormitories for new employees through voluntary resignation from executive housing (Satisfaction) ▲Strengthening social responsibility as a public institution by hiring the largest-ever scale of socially equitable personnel, including establishing a separate recruitment track for youth preparing for independence (Trust).

In particular, to overcome regional limitations such as the shortage of information technology (IT) personnel, the Service collaborated with local universities and newly launched a customized IT talent training course. The document screening was simplified to evaluate only computer qualification status, and a practical test such as coding used in the Service's actual work was introduced instead of the written exam. This approach was highly evaluated for newly recruiting 12 IT talents with excellent practical skills.

Kim Dong-geuk, Director of the Government Employees Pension Service, stated, "We will continue to advance the recruitment process so that the younger generation and the public can empathize with us as a leading institution in fair recruitment."
