Asia Economy boldly abolished the recruitment-linked internship system and the written test system including writing and general knowledge exams last year.

Furthermore, as the first domestic media company, it introduced a practical recruitment system through the Economic Media School and hired 10 elite trainee reporters. The Economic Media School offers a solid curriculum necessary for entry into economic journalism, including analysis of public disclosure materials and practical article writing, and provides the entire course free of charge to applicants.

Applicants who pass the first (document) screening attend Economic Media School lectures and complete assignments over approximately two weeks. Based on evaluation of attendance and assignment performance, interview candidates are selected, and those who pass the interview are hired as trainee reporters without any separate internship process.
