Naver Launches Hyper-Personalized 'Naver Plus Store'... AI Recommends Products and Promotions

Naver announced on the 30th that it has beta opened 'Naver Plus Store,' an AI-based personalized shopping recommendation feature that has been enhanced.


Through Naver Plus Store, Naver plans to provide a hyper-personalized AI shopping experience that analyzes individual preferences and interests to recommend and display not only products but also benefits, promotions, and shopping-related content.


To this end, the service will be expanded in two directions so that Naver Shopping products can be matched according to users' shopping purposes and preferences.


First, the 'Naver Price Comparison' service will be rebranded by applying a catalog function that improves the usability of shopping such as search and comparison. AI recommendation shopping experiences that were scattered, such as AiTEMS product recommendation function and FOR YOU service, will be fully expanded through Naver Plus Store.


Additionally, Naver Plus Store will provide a hyper-personalized recommendation experience by enhancing the algorithm of AiTEMS, Naver's proprietary personalized product recommendation technology. While existing AI recommendation services focused on recommending products that users might prefer, Naver Plus Store presents personalized results including customized benefits and trend information for each user.


At this time, the data processing scope of the recommendation model has been expanded beyond product information by store to include various promotion data, live content information, and Naver popular shopping trend information, and it has been enhanced to process these in real-time linked with user preference data.


Moreover, within Naver Plus Store, various discovery-type shopping experiences are provided, including ▲ AI discovery feed that offers continuous recommendations ▲ personalized product search results reflecting interests ▲ responsive product recommendation features and the introduction of a curation tab.


After the service launch, Naver plans to continuously enhance related technologies and services to provide a hyper-personalized commerce experience based on customized information such as users' pet information.


It is also expected that sales opportunities for small business operators strengthening their branding will increase. Based on usability where optimized products and benefits are recommended to individual users, benefits suitable for regular customers can be displayed. This is because the probability of matching with potential target customers increases.
