Mayor Kim Kyung-hee "Will Strive to Attract Science High Schools and Create a Business-Friendly Environment"
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is continuing a relay talent cultivation agreement with local companies to attract a science high school.
On the 24th and 25th, Icheon City announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement with 12 local companies over two days to foster scientific talent in Icheon City.

The companies that signed the agreement this time are ▲ Vitesco Technologies Korea ▲ D&C Co., Ltd. ▲ Iljin Comtec Co., Ltd. ▲ Iljin Electronics Industry ▲ Hwanam Electronics Co., Ltd. ▲ T&F Co., Ltd. ▲ Spifox Co., Ltd. ▲ Woojin Electric Co., Ltd. ▲ Ujutectron Co., Ltd. ▲ ETS Co., Ltd. ▲ Yugeon Tech Co., Ltd. ▲ Geumgang Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. The agreement was made by Icheon City officials, including Deputy Mayor Eom Jin-seop, who visited each company directly.
The companies participating in this agreement are those with research facilities and research personnel, and they pledged to participate in the development and operation of customized education programs for fostering scientific talent in the city, as well as to cooperate in supporting professional technical personnel and using research facilities. Through this, local students will engage in mentoring, research facility tours, and practical training during vacation periods in connection with the agreement institutions.
Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon City, said, "I am grateful to the companies participating in the agreement for attracting a science high school and developing local education," adding, "We will strive to create a better environment not only for attracting a science high school but also for operating companies."
