KB Insurance announced on the 25th that it has introduced the ‘Administrative Document Submission Simplification Service,’ which allows the use of public MyData from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for insurance business processing.
The Administrative Document Submission Simplification service enables the submission of administrative documents required during insurance subscription and claim processes through mobile ‘identity verification’ and ‘public MyData provision requests.’ This will allow customers to use insurance services more conveniently and quickly.
For example, administrative documents such as the ‘Health Insurance Premium Payment Confirmation’ for the review of the existing out-of-pocket expense cap system and the ‘Certificate of Entry and Exit’ for the review of refunds for long-term overseas stays can be submitted via public MyData without customers having to issue and submit them directly. Administrative documents required for personal loans, such as income amount certificates and tax payment certificates, are also expected to be added within the year to be submitted via public MyData.
The Administrative Document Submission Simplification service is expected to improve not only customer convenience but also employee work efficiency. Instead of receiving documents via fax, images, etc., verifying them manually, and entering data by hand, the data can be received digitally and automatically calculated and entered on the work screen.
A KB Insurance official stated, “We will strive to enhance customer convenience and improve employee work efficiency through continuous expansion of application areas using public MyData. We will also do our best to contribute to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) by reducing paper documents and storage costs.”
