RaonSecure is supporting university students' job search activities by issuing e-portfolio digital IDs for university students in collaboration with Iderink.
IT security and authentication platform company RaonSecure (CEO Lee Soon-hyung, Lee Jung-ah) signed a business agreement with education platform construction company Iderink for a joint university project, and decided to provide a service that issues e-portfolios based on its blockchain digital ID platform ‘OmniOne Digital ID’ and blockchain digital badge platform ‘OmniOne Badge’.
The e-portfolios implemented by RaonSecure and Iderink contain various educational courses and achievements such as certificates, transcripts, scholarship history, volunteer activities, contests, and exchange student records. University students can submit these to job platforms, companies, graduate schools, government employment agencies, and other places to assist their job search activities. The two companies will link digital badges so that they can be included as records within the e-portfolio, and provide a service that allows e-portfolios created from these various student activities and achievements to be issued as digital IDs.
The existing university e-portfolio systems have complicated authentication procedures and require additional steps for verification. In contrast, e-portfolios issued as digital IDs can be easily submitted via mobile devices and their authenticity can be verified, simplifying the job search process and making them trustworthy for companies and institutions. Additionally, the information in the portfolio issued as a digital ID is stored only on the student’s smartphone, while only the issuance history is stored on the blockchain, providing excellent personal information protection.
‘OmniOne Digital ID’ is a blockchain-based integrated platform for identity and qualification authentication that is difficult to forge or tamper with. Provided as Software as a Service (SaaS), various organizations such as universities, companies, and public institutions can issue various digital certificates without building their own systems. Its applications are limitless, including student IDs, employee IDs, graduation certificates, employment certificates, and various other certificates. Similarly, ‘OmniOne Badge’ is also a SaaS-type digital badge service that provides highly reliable and secure qualification authentication using blockchain technology, which can be used for educational qualification verification, awards, licenses, endorsements, and various other purposes.
RaonSecure and Iderink plan to provide innovation in university students’ portfolio management and job search activities through this blockchain-based e-portfolio service and jointly establish various linked business model strategies.
