Hwang Ju-ryong, Vice Chairman of the Dongducheon City Council, is receiving the Legislative Grand Prize at the '3rd Dasan Jeong Yak-yong Legislative and Administrative Awards Ceremony' held at the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly on the 22nd. The Dongducheon City Council in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 23rd that Vice Chairman Hwang Ju-ryong was honored with the Legislative Grand Prize at the '3rd Dasan Jeong Yak-yong Legislative and Administrative Awards Ceremony' held at the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly on the 22nd.
This Legislative and Administrative Award commemorates the philosophy and spirit of Dasan Jeong Yak-yong, a pioneer of Gyeonggi Province's philosophy, and was presented to 39 individuals dedicated to the development of cities and counties across five categories (National Assembly members, heads of basic local governments, metropolitan council members, basic council members, and social volunteers).
Vice Chairman Hwang Ju-ryong served as the Vice Chairman of the 9th Dongducheon City Council during both the first and second halves of the term, demonstrating professional and dedicated legislative activities on Dongducheon’s current issues. He was recognized for his efforts in actively promoting administration by inspecting sites and proposing policies beneficial to citizens, earning him the honor of receiving the award.
Vice Chairman Hwang Ju-ryong said, “I consider it an honor to receive such a valuable award as a result of efforts for the citizens of Dongducheon,” and added, “I will continue to listen more closely to the voices of the citizens and strive to make Dongducheon a better place to live.”
