Seocho-gu to Host 'Catwalk Festa' Featuring Fashion and K-Pop from 17th to 20th

Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) announced on the 15th that the "2nd C.at Work Festa" will be held from the 17th to the 20th in the plaza in front of Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch.

Hosted by Esteem (CEO Kim So-yeon), the "2nd C.at Work Festa" is a festival where various C's (Creation, Collaboration, Culture, Content, Celebrity) gather here (AT) to create a festa, showcasing a stage where artists from diverse fields bring their individual works (WORK) together and elevate them into art (ART).

This year, under the theme "NEW WORLD," a new festival unlike any other will unfold, blending fashion, collaborative artwork, K-pop performances, and various performances.

On the first day, the 17th, an opening fashion show commemorating the 35th anniversary of the fashion design education institution "ESMOD Seoul" will take place. Following this, Shinsegae International's premium total beauty brand "VIDIVICI" will present the "VENI by VIDIVICI" capsule collection introducing the brand's new concept.

On the 18th, performance fashion shows will be held at three times: 12 PM, 3 PM, and 6 PM. Eleven diverse fashion brands loved by the MZ generation, including "ZAGAE," "51PERCENT," "SUN WOO," "L'EGARNET," "KYO," "nibgnus," "SOONJEANS," "Wingka By Kowgi," and "NACHE," will participate. Alongside them, girl group KISS OF LIFE, band Jaurim's front person and singer-songwriter Kim Yoon-ah, and dance crew 1MILLION choreographer Lia Kim will combine K-POP and dance in hip performances, presenting concert-like stages.

Additionally, around Shinsegae Department Store, stage costumes containing the history of SM Entertainment's K-pop idols such as aespa and NCT will be exhibited in collaboration with domestic and international global fine art artists including Kim Ki-ra, Sascha Pohle, and Hong Seung-hye. ESMOD Seoul will also present an archive exhibition commemorating its 35th anniversary, and various brand pop-up stores will offer attractions and entertainment through event participation.

Seocho-gu plans to form a joint inspection team composed of related agencies to conduct pre-event safety inspections, striving to prevent accidents and minimize inconvenience to residents. Shinsegae Department Store has supported the C.at Work Festa by providing a space where not only the MZ generation but all age groups can gather and enjoy, as well as producing content for the mutual growth of participating brands.

Advance reservations for the fashion show have closed, but on-site first-come, first-served ticketing is available. Side programs such as K-art exhibitions can be freely viewed without reservations. Detailed information can be found on the official C.at Work Festa Instagram.

Meanwhile, Seocho-gu is working on creating various murals such as "24 Hours of Seoul" and "Picasso Mural" in the underground public pedestrian passage connecting Express Bus Terminal Station (Exit G2) to Banpo Hangang Park, and has opened the "Goter·Sebit Tourist Information Center" to develop the Goter·Sebit tourist special zone. Through this fashion show, Seocho-gu is set to become a center for fashion and art tourism.
