Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok)'s 'Jangrong License' social worker employment project is drawing attention as it is showing actual results.

The district announced that there have been two successful employment cases from the 'Jangrong License Social Worker Welfare Worker Growth Support Education' program, which has been conducted since August.

The protagonists are Mr. Moon ○○ (53, male) and Ms. Song ○○ (42, female), who completed the six-week education program and were employed as social workers at local welfare institutions.

Mr. Moon stated, "I was afraid of employment because I had been away from the field for a long time. However, through systematic theoretical and practical training, I was able to overcome my fear and take on the challenge. I will revive my old passion and contribute to the local community."

The district previously implemented the 'Jangrong License Social Worker Welfare Worker Growth Support Education' program to help residents who had obtained professional social worker certificates but had left them unused as 'Jangrong licenses' to enter society.

The program provided comprehensive education to become social workers, including job competency training, understanding of fieldwork, visits to welfare institutions, and field practice. After the program ended, employment information and institution linkage services were provided.

On October 2, the district held a completion ceremony for the program graduates. At the ceremony, participants shared their impressions and the success stories of the two who secured employment.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, "I sincerely congratulate the two individuals who succeeded in employment through this education. We will expand the education program so that more social workers can work in the field."
