Up to 1 Million Won for Exam Fees and Academy Tuition
Ulsan's Ulju County will be accepting applications for the third round of the 2024 Youth Self-Development Subsidy from the 15th of this month until the 29th of next month.
The Youth Self-Development Subsidy is a project promoted by Ulju County to strengthen the employment competitiveness of young people preparing for employment. It supports the costs of test fees and academy tuition for language proficiency, Korean history proficiency tests, and nationally accredited certifications.
Applicants must be unemployed youth aged between 18 and 39 who have been registered residents of Ulju County for at least one year as of the application date. There is no limit on the number of tests taken or courses attended, but each person can apply only once in their lifetime.
The maximum support amount is 1 million KRW per person, and actual expenses for already paid test fees and academy tuition will be reimbursed. Applications are accepted if the test or course began and was completed after January 1 of this year.
Eligible applicants can apply online through the Ulju County Startup and Employment Support Center website and attach the required documents.
