New 'Doma Station' on Line 2 Planned in Doman Street
Phase 1 of Chungcheong Regional Railroad Also Aiming to Start Construction Within the Year
Hanwha Construction Division is offering first-come, first-served sales of ‘Doma Forena Haemoro,’ which is expected to benefit from Daejeon Urban Railway Line 2.
This apartment, jointly constructed by Hanwha Construction Division and HJ Heavy Industries, is located in Doma-dong 181-1, Seo-gu, Daejeon. It consists of 7 buildings with 3 basement floors and 34 above-ground floors, totaling 818 households with exclusive areas ranging from 39 to 101㎡. Among these, 568 units are available for general sale.
At Doma Intersection, where Doma Forena Haemoro is situated, a new tram station called Doma Station (tentative name) on Daejeon Urban Railway Line 2 will be established. This tram will run on a total loop line of 37.8 km around Daejeon City. Recently, the power supply method was decided to be hydrogen fuel cells, and construction is scheduled to begin in the second half of this year. The first phase of the Chungcheong Regional Railway line (Gyeryong to Sintanjin, 35.4 km section) will also start construction within this year. A Hanwha Construction Division sales official explained, "After the announcement of the production of Daejeon Line 2 tram vehicles, investor interest has increased, and unsold units are being rapidly depleted."
This complex is located in the core area of the Doma-Byeondong district (25,000 households), which has been redeveloped through an urban renewal project of a large-scale old residential area. The complex is surrounded by transportation networks such as Gaebaek-ro, Doma Intersection, and Daedunsan-ro. Daesin Middle and High Schools are within a 10-minute walking distance. Boksu Elementary, Daejeon Samyuk Elementary (private), Beodne Middle, and Jeil High School are all within a 1 km radius. Nearby natural features include Yudeungcheon Stream and Oryang Mountain.
Another positive factor is that Gyochon-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon City, was finally selected as the candidate site for the Nano and Semiconductor National Industrial Complex. Daejeon City plans to attract related industries such as nano and semiconductor industries, aerospace, and urban air mobility to this area to create a high-tech industrial cluster. Doma Forena Haemoro is located about 7 to 8 km from the planned nano and national industrial complex site.
This apartment can be contracted by owners of one household as well. The resale restriction period is six months, and resale is possible before moving in. Move-in is scheduled for the first half of 2027.
