Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 2nd that it has selected the brand identity (BI) for the integrated brand name "Maeilcheotssal Yeoncheon Rice," which includes locally produced rice such as the new variety Yeonjin Rice.
The selected BI was the most preferred design in a survey conducted with 330 participants, including residents and agricultural organizations.
The BI uses the consonants ㅊ, ㅅ, and ㅆ from "Maeilcheotssal" to symbolize the shape of rice plants and features calligraphy inspired by a seal stamp. The use of gold and red colors emotionally and uniquely expresses the premium image of Yeoncheon Rice.
Based on this BI, packaging designs that can leave a good first impression on consumers will also be developed.
An official from Yeoncheon-gun stated, "This BI is a symbolic design intended to effectively convey the premium quality of Yeoncheon Rice to consumers. Especially since it was selected reflecting the opinions of residents and agricultural stakeholders, it holds great significance as it embodies the region's identity and pride. We will continue to do our best to widely promote the excellent quality of Yeoncheon Rice and enhance the brand value."
