Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 2nd that it held the 'Large Corporation and Global Company Youth Employment Concert' for young residents and students of Uijeongbu at Kyungmin University and Shinhan University on the 25th and 27th of last month.
About 150 young people participated through prior registration, engaging in ▲special lectures on employment at large and global companies ▲basic introductions to companies and job roles ▲employment talk show Q&A ▲small group counseling (mentoring), among other activities.
In particular, during the employment Q&A session, mentors answered common concerns and individual questions collected beforehand from participants, providing meaningful time filled with practical advice and know-how for job preparation.
Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, "I hope the Youth Employment Concert becomes a stepping stone for young people aspiring to find jobs to realize their dreams," and added, "To promote mutual growth between the region and universities, we will actively support various youth policies aimed at strengthening youth employment capabilities in collaboration with universities."
