On the afternoon of the 27th, Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the 'Cooking Learn Program with Youth' held at the shared kitchen Hamkke Cookcook located on the 3rd floor of the Yeongdeungpo-dong Community Center, where he cooked a meal.
This program was designed to support young single-person households, who tend to have irregular eating habits and rely on instant foods, by sharing basic ingredient preparation and cooking methods to help them maintain a healthy diet.
On this day, Mayor Choi made an all-purpose sauce that can be used in various dishes together with local youth and also learned recipes for simple menus that can be paired with the sauce.
Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, said, "I hope this program encourages interest in cooking and helps everyone eat healthily at every meal," adding, "We will continue to do our best to prepare various support projects that warmly embrace young people."
