On the 22nd (local time), at the final 3rd round of the PGA Tour Champions Pure Insurance Championship (total prize money $2.3 million), Wi Chang-su shot a 5-under-par 67 to finish tied for 7th place (8-under-par 208). This marks his fifth time finishing within the top 10 since tying for 5th at the Boeing Classic last August. This tournament is part of the senior tour for players aged 50 and above.

Wi Chang-su recorded 8 birdies and 3 bogeys. In the first 6 holes, he exchanged 2 birdies for 2 bogeys, struggling to lower his score. However, he changed the momentum with 4 consecutive birdies from holes 6 to 9, then added back-to-back birdies again at holes 13 and 14. A bogey on the 17th hole (par 3) was recovered with a birdie on the 18th hole (par 5) to close out the tournament. He was powered by a tied 1st place in fairway hit rate (92.86%) and tied 14th in greens in regulation (72.22%).

Paul Broadhurst (England) finished even par with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys but won by 3 strokes (14-under-par 202). This was his second win of the season and seventh overall on the PGA Tour Champions, earning $345,000 in prize money. Alex Cejka (Germany) surged to 2nd place (11-under-par 205) with an 8-under-par 64. Vijay Singh (Fiji) and Rocco Mediate (USA) tied for 3rd place (10-under-par 206). From Korea, K.J. Choi finished tied for 12th (7-under-par 209), and Yang Yong-eun ended tied for 26th (3-under-par 213).
