Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the '2nd Mapo District Lycoris Festival' held on the afternoon of the 7th at Nanji Theme Tourism Forest Trail and shared the festival's abundance with the residents.
The Metasequoia forest trail, where the Lycoris flowers had just begun to bloom, raised expectations for the festival site to be dyed even redder for the more than 5,000 visitors. The festival began with an orchestra performance harmonizing with the green forest trail, followed by a congratulatory video screening and the opening ceremony performance "Birth of Lycoris," which received great applause from the audience.
At the festival, singer Namgung Ok-bun presented a warm stage with an acoustic guitar, followed by Na Sang-do and Park Seo-jin, who elevated the festival atmosphere with lively performances.
In particular, Na Sang-do's new song "Filial Piety Table," performed that day, reminded many of their parents and touched many hearts.
Besides the performances, experience zones and unique photo zones were prepared, providing various attractions and entertainment that further enhanced the festival's enjoyment.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, "I am grateful that this Lycoris Festival was successfully held with the participation and support of many residents," adding, "We will continue to organize various cultural events where local residents can enjoy and communicate together."
