Sanggye Paik Hospital Affiliated Parking Lot with 50 Spaces Opened to Nowon District Residents

Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Signs Agreement to Open Affiliated Parking Lot with Inje University Sanggye Paik Hospital

On the 4th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, signed an agreement to open the attached parking lot of Inje University Sanggye Paik Hospital.

Through the agreement, Sanggye Paik Hospital will open 50 parking spaces on the hospital's basement level 2 parking lot to local residents. This is to secure parking spaces for nearby residential area residents to park at night and alleviate parking difficulties.

The parking lot operation will be entrusted to the Nowon-gu Facilities Management Corporation, and prior application to the corporation is required to use the hospital's night parking lot. Parking is allowed only in the assigned parking spaces after application.

The opening hours are from 6:00 PM to 7:30 AM the next day on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Parking fees are free during the opening hours, and hospital parking fees apply at other times.

The district operates a resident-priority parking sharing project to solve parking difficulties. It shares the idle time when the existing resident-priority parking lot assignees do not use their spaces. Currently, about 66.3% of the shareable spaces are being shared.

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, said, “This is the first case of opening a hospital-affiliated parking lot among the district's affiliated parking lot opening cases, and I thank Inje University Sanggye Paik Hospital for their dedication to the local community.” He added, “The district will also consider and implement various measures to resolve the inconvenience of local residents caused by parking difficulties.”
