Yeongju City Recruiting Students for Weekend and Evening Citizen Education Classes in the Second Half of the Year

284 Applicants Registered for 19 Subjects Including Barista

The Yeongju City Lifelong Learning Center is accepting applications for the weekend and evening classes of the second half of the year’s civic education program from the 3rd to the 6th of this month.

This program will run for 12 weeks from the 23rd of this month to December 14. It covers four fields and 19 subjects, including: ▲Certification (Barista Level 2, Tile Technician) ▲Culture and Arts (Leather Craft, Calligraphy, and 8 other subjects) ▲Food and Cooking (Baking [weekend, evening], Men’s Home Cooking) ▲Hobby Classes (Woodworking, Barista Hobby Class, and 2 other subjects), with a total capacity of 284 students.

In particular, reflecting the results of a citizen survey, new courses such as Watercolor (evening class) and Baking (weekend class) have been introduced. On the last day of registration, the 6th, multiple registrations will be allowed for courses with unfilled quotas, instead of the usual one-course-per-person limit.

Applicants must be adults residing in Yeongju, and can apply through the Yeongju City Lifelong Learning Center website. For more details, please refer to the website’s announcements or contact the center by phone.
