Continue the 'Pusan National University Spirit' as Leaders with Integrity and Intelligence
Congratulations to 2,093 Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Graduates on Their New Journey
Pusan National University held the ‘August 2024 Graduation Ceremony’ at the Gyeongam Gymnasium on the 30th.
During the ceremony, graduates from the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs received their degrees, marking the end of their university life and taking a bold step toward new beginnings.
This year, Pusan National University conferred degrees on a total of 2,093 graduates, including 1,151 bachelor's, 766 master's, and 176 doctoral degrees.
The event proceeded in the following order: academic report, president's graduation address, speech by the representative of the graduates, congratulatory remarks from the alumni association president, conferral of degrees, celebratory performance and song, and singing of the school anthem. Many people, including graduates, their families, university members, and distinguished guests attended the ceremony to share in and celebrate the graduates’ achievements.
Choi Jaewon, president of Pusan National University, encouraged the graduates in his commencement address, saying, “Wherever you go, never forget that you are a member of Pusan National University and uphold the ‘PNU spirit.’ I hope you will become leaders with beautiful character and outstanding intellect. Approach everything with an open mind, sincerity, and integrity, and walk your own unique path with the ‘PNU spirit’ of curiosity and adventurousness.”
