Collision Between Passenger Car and SUV in Geoje... Two Teenagers Dead, Three Injured

At around 4:22 PM on the 28th, a Sonata passenger car and a Sportage sport utility vehicle (SUV) collided on a two-lane road in Dongbu-myeon, Geoje-si, Gyeongnam.

As a result of the accident, two teenagers riding in the Sonata passenger car died. The driver of the Sonata and another passenger, totaling two others, were injured and transported to the hospital. One person in their 80s who was in the Sportage SUV was confirmed to have sustained minor injuries.

The police determined that neither drunk driving nor unlicensed driving was involved. The police stated, "It is presumed that the passenger car crossed the center line and collided with the oncoming SUV," and are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
