The Korea Exchange announced on the 28th that it has selected 39 KOSDAQ-listed companies with excellent technological capabilities and growth potential as the '2024 KOSDAQ Rising Stars.'
This year's newly selected companies are ▲Lunit ▲Lake Materials ▲CIS ▲HB Solution ▲Neuromeka ▲LOT Vacuum ▲Millie’s Library ▲Furontier ▲Famtech ▲Javis, totaling 10 companies.
Among the 41 companies selected last year, 29 companies including Alteogen, Classys, and Pharma Research were reselected this year, making a total of 39 'KOSDAQ Rising Stars.' Selected companies receive benefits such as exemption from annual fees and listing fees for one year, support for holding investor relations (IR) meetings, and publication of corporate analysis reports.
The Exchange has been conducting the Rising Star program since 2009 to support the mid- to long-term growth of promising KOSDAQ-listed companies and to promote the activation of the KOSDAQ market. Companies apply for the program, and after reviewing financial requirements and conducting CEO interviews, Rising Star companies are selected based on criteria such as market dominance, market share in innovative industries, and continuous sales growth.
