At 9:04 PM on the 24th, a 1.74-ton gillnet fishing vessel A capsized about 8 km southwest of Gyeokpo Port, Buan-gun, near Jangeunseo in the sea. Vessel B, which was fishing nearby, rescued all four crew members on board.
According to Buan Coast Guard on the 25th, vessel A departed from Gyeokpo Port, Buan-gun at around 7:25 PM on the 24th and while fishing near Jangeunseo, flooding occurred at the stern. The Coast Guard received a report at around 8:56 PM.

The Coast Guard dispatched patrol ships, rescue teams, and coastal rescue boats from the local police station. They also requested assistance from vessel B (8.55 tons, coastal gillnet) fishing nearby.
Vessel B arrived at the scene and rescued all four crew members from vessel A. The crew members were then transferred to the coastal rescue boat of Byeonsan Police Station and safely transported to Gyeokpo Port, where they were handed over to the 119 ambulance service.
All four rescued crew members were reported to be in good health. Vessel A, which capsized due to flooding, was safely towed to Gyeokpo Port at 2:07 AM on the 25th using a civilian vessel.
The Coast Guard plans to investigate the exact cause of the accident based on the statements of the crew members.
The local weather conditions include southeast winds blowing at 4 to 6 m/s, wave heights of 0.5 to 1 meter, good visibility, and cloudy skies with 50% cloud cover.
