Han Dong-hoon, leader of the People Power Party, and Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, will hold a 'leaders' meeting' at the National Assembly on the 25th.
Lee Hae-sik, chief secretary to the Democratic Party leader, told reporters on the afternoon of the 19th, "Leader Lee has agreed to meet with Leader Han at the National Assembly at 3 p.m. on the 25th," adding, "Although there are doubts about whether Leader Han is maintaining a horizontal party-government relationship with the Presidential Office, he made a decision to overcome the difficulties faced by the people and the deadlocked political situation." He continued, "Details regarding the specific agenda and attendees will be discussed in follow-up consultations."

Regarding the remark that "Park Chan-dae, floor leader of the Democratic Party, urged Leader Han to propose the special prosecutor law for Chae Sang-byeong by the 26th," the chief secretary responded, "That (the proposal of the special prosecutor law) is not a condition." On setting the meeting date as the 25th, he said, "Due to busy schedules and coordination, the only available date was the 25th, so it was unavoidable to meet on Sunday."
The People Power Party also announced the meeting date through a press release, stating, "The detailed agenda will be discussed through working-level consultations."
