"KGM to Increase European Exports, Local Subsidiary to Start Operations Next Month"

KG Mobility Chairman Kwak Jae-sun met with local dealers in Frankfurt, Germany on the 14th (local time) to discuss new vehicles and future business directions, the company said. As part of checking the local market in line with the launch of the European sales corporation, this location plays an important role in increasing the company's exports going forward.

The conference was attended by Chairman Kwak, KG Mobility CEO Hwang Ki-young, and about 170 people from 100 local dealerships. The newly established KG Mobility Europe Corporation is the company's second overseas subsidiary after Australia and will serve as a base for targeting the local market.

The company said they exchanged opinions on export strategies, mid- to long-term product operation plans, brand and marketing strategies, and sales networks. The new sports utility vehicle (SUV) Actyon, which will be launched first in Korea on the 20th, was also exhibited. The European corporation will begin full-scale operations starting next month.

Chairman Kwak Jae-sun said, "Exports have increased by 11% compared to last year, which recorded the highest performance in nine years until last month, showing an upward trend, and Europe accounts for 50% of total exports, making it an important market. We wanted to introduce the Actyon in Europe first before its official launch in domestic and overseas markets," he said.

Regarding the local corporation, he explained, "Germany is the largest automobile market in Europe and has a strong influence on surrounding markets, so we chose it to communicate directly and establish strategies and product development tailored to European customers."
