Daewon Pharmaceutical Launches 'Coldaewon' and 'Night Syrup'

Daewon Pharmaceutical announced on the 12th the launch of KolDaewon Night Syrup, a new product in the comprehensive cold medicine brand KolDaewon, widely known as a "squeeze-and-take cold medicine."

KolDaewon Night contains ingredients such as acetaminophen, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, and dextromethorphan hydrobromide hydrate, which help relieve major cold symptoms that interfere with sleep, including cough, nasal congestion, and pain. It also contains doxylamine succinate, a first-generation antihistamine with sedative effects, and is free of caffeine, which can disrupt sleep, allowing for easy consumption before bedtime. Another advantage of KolDaewon Night is its stick-type pouch form, which can be taken simply without water.

With the launch of KolDaewon Night, Daewon Pharmaceutical's cold medicine brand KolDaewon has established a total of four product lineups, covering care for symptoms such as comprehensive cold, cough cold, and nasal cold, as well as products that can be used throughout the day and night.

A representative from Daewon Pharmaceutical said, "We have prepared a new product for those who have difficulty sleeping due to cold symptoms like cough and nasal congestion and the unique ingredients of cold medicines," adding, "We hope you can have a comfortable night with caffeine-free KolDaewon Night."

KolDaewon Night is an over-the-counter drug and can be purchased at pharmacies without a prescription. It is not suitable for children and adolescents under 15 years of age.
